The Controller will have the opportunity to become a trusted right hand to the owner, serving as a strategic advisor and helping leadership make informed financial and operational decisions as the company continues to grow.If you know WIP, job costing, GAAP, certified payroll and Foundation Software, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoOversee day-to-day accounting and financial operationsPrepare and review monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statementsManage WIP reporting, job costing and project financial reportingOversee AP, AR, general ledger and account reconciliationsCoordinate quarterly financials, year-end close and tax preparation with the company's CPASupport and oversee certified payroll and prevailing wage requirementsWork directly with banking, bonding and insurance partnersCoordinate insurance renewals and auditsAssist with Workers' Compensation, Auto and General Liability claimsSupport 401(k) annual filings and auditsManage contractor registrations, certifications and renewalsComplete customer and contractor pre-qualificationsMaintain strong internal accounting controls and GAAP complianceProvide financial reporting, analysis and recommendations to company leadershipSupport and oversee accounting and administrative personnelWhat We're Looking For5+ years of progressive accounting experience as a Controller or accounting ManagerStrong construction accounting experience requiredFoundation Software experience requiredStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparationExperience with WIP reporting and job costingKnowledge of certified payroll and prevailing wage requirementsStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skillsAbility to manage a team, multiple priorities and deadlinesCompensation & BenefitsEmployer paid Medical, Dental and Life Insurance for the employee401(k) with 5% company matchPaid vacationPotential year-end bonus
