POSITION SUMMARYThe Pre-Sales Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for steering a high-performing team of technical data specialists and sales coordinators. Your primary objective is to optimize the department's workflow, ensuring that all bids and proposals are technically accurate, competitively priced, and delivered ahead of schedule. While you will directly handle complex cost analyses, your success is defined by your team's collective output, professional development, and the seamless execution of the pre-sale lifecycle. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAll employees are required to support Rosenbauer's Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer. Manages bids and proposals to meet goals and fit schedule timeline.Prepares Cost Analysis Sheets and develops pricing for bids and proposals based on dealer-provided specifications.Serves as a primary point of contact for dealership questions and concerns throughout the pre-sale process.Oversees department workflow, output, and scheduling to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery.Ensures specifications are released in a timely manner while meeting established quality standards.Maintains an effective feedback loop between the Scrub and Pre-Sales teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.Drives continuous improvement of processes while supporting team member development and growth.Provides regular updates to the Director of Inside Sales and other managers on Pre-Sales project progress.Conducts performance reviews and partners with HR to address employee-related matters as needed.Sustains the Quality management System with required departmental standards.Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA's): The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.KKnowledge, Education, and/or Experience:High school diploma required.Bachelors degree in business administration or related field preferred.2+ years of sales or customer service experience required.2+ years of administrative support experience preferred.Manufacturing experience preferred.SSkills:Language:Able to find, read, and interpret relevant business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Able to write reports and business correspondence in a professional manner.Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Able to follow written and verbal directions and communicate new information that could affect project trajectories.Math:Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.Computer:Proficient in Microsoft Excel, especially related to formulas and equations related to sales.Able to perform intermediate PC functions in Microsoft Office Suite and Quote Writer.AAbilities:Able to deal with problems involving a variety of variables in non-standard situations.Strong attention to detail.Able to read and understand specs.Able to work professionally with customers/dealerships and internal customers to accomplish common goals.Able to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines.Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment.Able to understand and follow all safety policies to promote a safe working environment for all.Ability to obtain a notary.OTHER QUALIFICATIONSCHECK IF APPLIES Give Examples as NecessaryDriving- license xMay need to travel off site for tradeshows, meetings, or company related events.
