TeamGOV, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Janitorial Worker for the WINDER BUILDING in Washington DC, working Monday through Friday mornings with no weekend shifts. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong janitorial background who can maintain cleanliness, safety, and order across various building areas while collaborating closely with a small team and reporting directly to the Site Manager. Applicants must be able to pass a background check and perform physically demanding tasks involving lifting and maneuvering cleaning equipment.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.ResponsibilitiesDetail vacuum and dust carpeted and horizontal surfaces weekly in assigned areasRemove trash and recyclables, disposing them appropriately on the loading dockClean fixtures, surfaces, toilets, urinals, mirrors, mop floors, and restock restroomsClear food trash from break rooms and police public restrooms before shift endPerform scheduled high and low cleaning tasksDetail stairwells including landings, steps, and handrailsMop freight elevator landings and break room floors; detail elevator cars and tracksClean aluminum can recycling containers and maintain supply inventories with reports to Lead Janitor/ManagerCommunicate regularly with janitorial services manager/supervisor and participate in in-service trainingTransport small equipment between departments and maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationCarry out carpet extractions, floor strip/scrub & wax, and exterior window cleaning as requiredMonitor quality of work to ensure contract specifications xhyhwjd are metRequired Qualifications3+ years of janitorial work experienceProficiency in janitorial services and cleaning equipment operationInventory management and safety compliance knowledgePhysical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver equipmentStrong communication skills and ability to work within a small team (2-5 members)High School Degree or GED equivalentValid State Driver's LicenseAbility to pass extensive background check
