Required Skills & Experience- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment- Capable communicator, written and oral- Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.)- Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred- General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations1+ year of Financial Customer Service Experience Job DescriptionThe Base File Home Loan Specialist is an entry level role supporting various Channels. As a Home Loan Specialist, you will act as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives.The Base File Loan Specialist will:- Perform routine data entry and validation tasks- Initiate third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.)- Review and validate loan documents- Handle routine calls, emails and/or chat responses- Monitor work queues and intervene as needed- Interact with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution- Perform other related duties as required and assigned- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and valuesCompensation:$23/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
