Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chef role based in Barnsley The Chef will oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes designed to meet customer specifications and expectations. Daily responsibilities include planning menus, managing kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, sourcing ingredients, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. The Chef will play a key role in maintaining the company’s reputation for culinary excellence and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary presentationAbility to plan and customize menus to meet diverse dietary needs and event themesExperience in managing kitchen operations, including staff supervision and schedulingStrong knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards, and quality controlExcellent organizational and time-management skillsStrong communication and leadership skillsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredCulinary certification or equivalent professional experience is preferredPassion for food, creativity, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
