Java Backend Developer with Kafka

Job TitleNesco has partnered with a global retail organization based in Columbus, OH, that is looking to take their on-premise to a cloud-based on Azure.Backend Java with Kafka- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot (2.7 or higher) and Spring Security (5.x preferred), and an understanding of OAuth and JWT- Understanding of MyBatis, JDBC and SQL- Experience working with and being able to deploy applications to Tomcat- Working knowledge of Maven and Docker- Understanding of Kafka platform, including event streaming, topic creation and configuration, and Spring Boot integration with Kafka- Hands on experience writing custom producers and consumers using Java and Spring Boot- Preferred hands on experience with Confluent Cloud- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.- Experience with test-driven development- Preferred: Hands on experience with developing CI pipelines using Gitlab CI, and deployments using HelmNesco Resource and affiliates (Lehigh G.I.T Inc, and Callos Resource, LLC) is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
