PHP / C# Developer (Junior Level position)

Overview: Seeking a motivated Junior PHP / C# Developer to join a dynamic software development team. As a Junior Developer, you will assist and design, code, test, and maintain web-based applications and services that meet our clients’ needs. Duties: Maintain the software and interfaces the Company's customers utilize daily. Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement web applications using PHP and C# programming languages Assist in developing RESTful APIs and web services to support front-end functionalities Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices in software development Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and unit testing to ensure high-quality deliverables Contribute to system architecture planning by understanding project requirements and technical specifications Maintain and update existing applications by troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements Requirements: Basic understanding of PHP and C# programming languages with a desire to deepen expertise in both Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and data visualization techniques Knowledge of database design, writing queries using JOINs, troubleshooting, and optimizing queries Experience with version control systems like GIT or SVN for managing code repositories Exposure to containerization tools such as Docker and configuration management tools like Ansible is a plus Understanding of software development methodologies including Agile and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) Ability to work collaboratively within a team using project management tools like Jira Basic knowledge of web design principles including UX/UI best practices and responsive web design Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Application analysis, design development and testing Experience building and working with RESTful and SOAP web services Experience working with a single page application Code using object-oriented design, including inheritance and traits Good understanding of the most common design patterns and software architecture Knowledge of software programming algorithms and effectively apply in daily job activities Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across different functions Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: From $60,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
