HVAC Technician

Sign-On Bonus Included Mission Mechanical, an established Plumbing, HVAC, and Refrigeration Service Company, is looking for qualified candidates to join our team as an HVAC-R Technician. Job Summary: The HVAC-R Technician performs mechanical diagnostics on a variety of building systems, providing clients with proposed solutions discovered through the diagnostic process. The technician needs a strong acumen in chillers, boilers, RTUs, split systems, VRF systems, refrigeration, controls, and other building mechanical systems. Essential Functions: Troubleshoot and diagnose building mechanical systems (including but not limited to: RTUs, split systems, VRFs, boilers, chillers, AHU and VAV). Capable of repairing and/or installing proposed diagnosis. Responsible for planning, laying out and overall efficiency at project repair and/or installation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams. Capable of navigating computer systems and service CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Manage onsite communication with customers and facility directors. Maintain a safe work environment. Assist in training apprentices. Education/Knowledge/Skills Requirements: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). 5+ years of experience in a related position, preferably within the HVAC-R or Mechanical industry. Certification, professional license, or credential required or in-process (EPA II) Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation Dependable smart mobile device OSHA 10 minimum - OSHA 30 preferred Sign-on bonus up to $2,500!
