Senior Accountant | Financial Reporting | Month-End Close | GAAPA client of Aspire Staffing is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a growing, multi-location organization within the construction and heavy equipment industry. This role offers strong visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to influence financial accuracy, internal controls, and accounting process improvements.This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with experience in month-end close, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and US GAAP compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and estimatesPrepare and review financial statements and internal reports in compliance with US GAAPPerform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periodsMaintain strong internal controls and support audit (internal and external) activitiesPartner with operations and finance leadership to provide actionable financial insightsDrive accounting process improvements and participate in special projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance3+ years of progressive accounting experience (Senior Accountant, Staff Accountant II, or equivalent)Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and reconciliationsAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups); ERP system experience preferredBackground in manufacturing, distribution, construction, or industrial environments a plusCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salaryDay 1 medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits401(k) or retirement savings programPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development and long-term career growthThis is a high‐visibility, hands‐on role with direct exposure to the Controller, offering the chance to influence processes, support growth, and build a long‐term career within a rapidly growing organization.
