Your role
You will be part of a team that brings people joy and creates genuine human connection. At ’mina, service is intentional, generous, and human.
Server responsibilities
Deliver warm, polished, and consistent service aligned with ’mina’s service philosophy
Create meaningful guest connections through presence, anticipation, and timing
Confidently guide guests through food, wine, and cocktail offerings, sharing stories when appropriate
Communicate seamlessly with hosts, kitchen, bar, and support teams to ensure smooth service
Accurately enter orders and manage POS transactions with care
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness in all service areas
Support teammates proactively and contribute to a calm, collaborative service environment
Participate in training, tastings, and ongoing development
Complete opening, mid-shift, and closing duties with intention
Uphold grooming, appearance, and conduct standards
Assist with special events, private dining, and required meetings
What this work requires
Previous serving experience in a professional environment
Strong sense of responsibility and positive character
Working knowledge of food, wine, and alcohol
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desire to learn, improve, and contribute to a team
Utah on-premise alcohol license
Utah food handler permit

What to expect physically
This role is active and guest-facing. The work requires:
Standing and moving throughout the dining room, bar, and service areas for most of the shift
Frequent bending, reaching, crouching, and lifting
The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to approximately 50 pounds
Steady hands and coordination to handle plates, glassware, service tools, and POS systems
Comfortable working in areas with varying temperatures, including near the kitchen
