Senior Technical Lead – Python, Microservices, CloudLocation - NYC - 3 days onsite Rate - 80 C2CRole Purpose: Lead backend development using Django and Databricks — designing scalable, secure APIs and microservices, integrating Azure Cloud services, and guiding a technical team through architecture decisions, code quality, and delivery.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development of backend systems using Django/ and implement scalable, secure APIs and microservices architecture.Integrate Azure Cloud services for application deployment and management.Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.Optimize database performance and manage data storage (SQL and NoSQL).Ensure high performance and security standards; participate in architecture design and technical decision making.Core Skills:Python and Django (expert); RESTful APIs and web servicesMicroservices architecture design and implementationAzure Cloud services (hands-on); containerization with Docker and KubernetesSQL/NoSQL databases, Git, Agile methodologiesStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsMust-have (per requisition): Microservices, Python, Cloud Computing. Good to have: Azure Databricks, Delta Lake and Delta tables, PySpark.Experience & Expected Outcome: 10+ years in backend development, including 5+ years with Django; Bachelor's in Computer Science/IT or related field.
