This role is responsible for delivering high-quality dining experiences while maintaining operational excellence, regulatory compliance, budget oversight, and resident satisfaction.The Executive Chef leads culinary operations across multiple dining venues, including residential dining, memory care, public-facing dining services, and catering operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and refresh seasonal menus based on resident preferences and dietary needs Lead scratch cooking, farm-to-table, and regional cuisine initiatives Oversee all kitchen operations and food production Maintain consistency through standardized recipes and portion control Manage food purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor culinary team members Foster a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations Lead preparation for inspections and regulatory surveys Maintain HACCP standards and safe food handling practices Monitor food cost, labor, and departmental budgets QualificationsRequired:Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary experience Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or Executive Chef role ServSafe Manager Certification Valid Food Handler’s Card Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Preferred:Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field Experience in healthcare, senior living, or institutional dining Experience managing budgets, labor, and inventory systems Ideal CandidateWe’re looking for someone who is:Passionate about hospitality and resident experience Creative and quality-focused A strong people leader and mentor Organized and operationally driven Calm under pressure and solutions-oriented Additional RequirementsAbility to pass DHS background check and pre-employment drug screening Ability to provide employment eligibility documentation Valid driver’s license if driving is required Apply TodayIf you’re ready to bring creativity, leadership, and purpose to a culinary program that truly impacts lives, we’d love to hear from you.
