Our client, a leader in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking an Engineering Technician 2_USD to join their team. As an Engineering Technician 2_USD, you will be part of the Engineering Support Department supporting product testing, equipment setup, and prototype assembly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Engineering Technician 2_USDLocation: Boise, IDWhat's the Job?Support engineering activities such as equipment setup, product testing, and check-out procedures.Modify and assemble prototype electro-mechanical systems and experimental circuitry.Perform operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment.Assist in troubleshooting and determining methods to remedy malfunctions.Utilize manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.What's Needed?3-5 years of technical work experience in relevant fields.Proficiency in working from schematics, diagrams, and written/verbal descriptions.Experience with analog, digital, and video circuits and logic systems is preferred.Ability to perform troubleshooting and fault isolation effectively.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
