Process Engineer

Verst Logistics Hebron, KY Role: Process Engineer - Packaging Divison Hour: Monday - Friday Salary: Starts at $70k plus bonus potential Duties and Responsibilities: In collaboration with the Director of Engineering, perform hands-on troubleshooting of basic production line layout and line processes throughout the facility. Assist other designated employees, maintenance staff, and or contractors during project installation and commissioning. Follow up with the management staff after commissioning to monitor system performance and recommend any changes, if needed. Conduct research to develop new and improved processes for manufacturing. Establishing safety procedures for individuals working in a production environment. Working with a team to design and plan line equipment layout. Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance throughout production. Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes. Evaluating processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Estimating production costs to include labor requirements. Perform advanced engineering tasks under limited supervision. User of tools such as AutoCAD, CWorks, Excel, Word, Power Point. Perform other duties as assigned. Prepares monthly reports, detailing progress and costs for top management. Years of Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of related work experience or training.
