Dog Daycare Playgroup Supervisor

Our playgroup supervisors are a vital part of our team. They are the ones out with the dogs, ensuring healthy, happy, and safe play in our groups throughout the day. The job is hands on, and is an outdoor position, meaning rain or shine. We love sharing our day with these canine kiddos, and it's a rewarding job. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: -Must be 21+ -Must be comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and needs. -Playgroup supervisors are tasked with ensuring safe play and happy dogs. This means engaging in group and playing with the dogs, rotating dogs from kennels into playgroup, walking and exercising individual board dogs, scooping and cleaning the yard, and understanding dog play-styles to properly manage groups. -May occasionally be tasked with things like leaf blowing, wysi-washing, kennel cleaning, etc. -Experience with dogs and/or having dogs of your own is a bonus and will get you bumped up on the list. HOURS: -Part Time (25-35hrs/week on average) -Varying shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm -Holidays and rotating weekends required INTERVIEW PROCESS: -After reviewing applications, we will contact our preferred candidates to set up an interview. -After the interview, we will consider scheduling a "working interview" where you will come in on a shift and observe, get a feel for the job, and work with our employees for a few hours. This ensures you understand what to expect from the job.
