Job Description & Requirements Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician StartDate: 5/1/2026 Pay Rate: $3104.00 - $3360.00 This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: Friday Evening until Monday Morning, 1 weekend a month, potential for 1 week of call coverage monthly as well Practice Setting: Inpatient Types of Cases: Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery, CABG, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement, Tube Thoracostomy, Pericardial Window, Thoracotomy (Lung Biopsy, Lung Resection, Pneumonectomy), Thoracotomy Decortication, and Mediastinal Surgery. 1 case per weekend Credentialing Timeframe: 60 - 90 Days Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC Certifications Required: Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgery, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Licensure Required: Michigan Job Benefits AMN Healthcare typically arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for the contractor providers we match to client opportunities.
