Explore our open roles and start your journey with Tracewell today.Purpose of the RoleAs a Press Brake Operator, youll play a hands-on role in shaping the precision metal components that power Tracewells advanced technology platforms. Youll work with a variety of materials and tools to form parts to exact specifications, contributing directly to the quality and performance of our products.What Youll DoMachine Operation & Setup Independently set up and operate Amada Press Brake machines. Ensure proper tooling, fixturing, and programming based on blueprints and job travelers.Precision Forming & Inspection Form parts within tight tolerances (+/- .005) using aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and copper. Record inspection measurements using calipers, protractors, and height gauges.Collaboration & Problem Solving Interface with programmers, engineers, and team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality outcomes.Documentation & Maintenance Complete production and quality forms, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.Team Contribution Rotate through different fabrication processes as needed, support inventory and part handling, and contribute to a safe and efficient workspace.What You Bring35 years of recent press brake experience (Amada preferred)Ability to perform single and multiple setups on press brakesExperience with deburr machines, turret punch presses, shears, and Haegers (a plus)Ability to read blueprints and use dial/digital calipers and height gaugesExperience forming parts to tight tolerancesFamiliarity with aluminum, steel, and stainless steel materialsStrong oral and written communication skillsDetail-oriented, organized, and analytical mindsetAbility to lift at least 50 lbs without assistanceHigh School Diploma or equivalentAlignment with Tracewells core values: Art of the Possible, Integrity, Tenacity, Trusted Go-To, Sense of DutyWhy Tracewell?Youll gain access to:Medical, dental, and vision coverageShort-term disability and life insuranceRetirement planning support and employer contribution to your 401k within your first 30 daysOn-the-job training, career development, and access to personal career coachesBi-Weekly pay and unlimited referral bonusesA team that values your growth and successPlease note: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
