Accounts Payable Assistant

Actively seeking a CONTRACT Accounts Payable Assistant for a HYBRID and Contract Role (1-2 Months) within a Law FirmThe right candidate will have experience in a law firm or professional services corporate environment, and prior experience in an accounting role, preferably Accounts Payable position. HOURS: Monday Friday, 9:30 AM 5:30 PM EST (35/Hr. Work Week) SCHEDULE | LOCATION: HYBRID | New York CONTRACT DURATION: 1-2 Months PAY: $20 - $24/Hr. (Commensurate w/Experience) BENEFITS HIGHLIGHTS: Health, Dental, Vision, Commuter, etc. IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSAssociates Degree REQUIRED;Bachelors Degree A PLUS1-2+ Years of Accounts Payable Experience is REQUIREDStrong Verbal and Written Communication Skills Ability to work with electronic expense reporting systems; Chrome River is a HUGE PLUSProficiency in MS Excel and Word ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare and submit expense reports for Credit Card charges accurately and completely Prepare and submit invoice payment requests accurately and completely in electronic invoice expense reporting system Learn and apply expense account codes to allocate expenses Work with Travel Desk to obtain supporting documentation for travel expenses Communicate with firm personnel to obtain business purpose for travel expenses Ad Hoc Projects as Assigned Benefits Information:Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTOEqual Employment Opportunity Statement: SearchPointNY/Noor Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
