Director of Key Accounts

Who we are. The Key Accounts Director is a senior sales leadership role responsible for managing and growing Tosoh Quartz Inc.’s most strategically important customer relationships. This role represents an evolution of the Key Account Manager position, with expanded accountability for account strategy, cross-account support, and internal leadership.The Key Accounts Director will act as the primary owner for Intel and oversee other major accounts, while also supporting broader key account development across the organization. This role serves as a critical bridge between executive leadership and account teams, ensuring consistent, strategic, and high-quality customer engagement.This position reports to the Vice-President of Sales and is a key component of TQI’s long-term leadership pipeline.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Account LeadershipOwn and lead Tosoh Quartz Inc.’s most critical accountsDevelop long-term account strategies aligned with customer roadmaps and company capabilitiesServe as the executive-level point of contact for key customer stakeholdersRevenue Growth & Account DevelopmentIdentify and execute opportunities for revenue expansion within key accountsLead commercial negotiations, contract renewals, and strategic positioningMaintain strong focus on priority accounts while delivering measurable growthCross-Account Support & InfluenceProvide hands-on support and guidance to other Account Managers across key accountsLeverage industry relationships to strengthen broader account performanceContribute to complex or high-value customer engagements beyond primary account responsibilityTeam Leadership & MentorshipMentor and develop junior and mid-level account managersSupport development of internal sales capabilities, including communication and strategic account planningProvide consistent domestic leadership to complement global sales activitiesExecutive Support & Business LeadershipDevelop high-quality customer presentations, reports, and strategic materialsTranslate account insights into executive-level summaries and recommendationsReduce administrative and reporting burden at the VP level by owning mid-tier strategic workOrganizational Impact & ScalingSupport the evolution of the sales organization structure over timePotentially assume leadership of additional Key Account Managers as the role expandsEstablish best practices in account management and customer engagementReporting StructureReports to: Vice President of SalesPotential future direct reports: Key Account Managers and Account RepresentativesWorks cross-functionally with global sales leadership and internal stakeholdersQualificationsRequired10+ years of semiconductor industry experience in key account management, strategic sales, or related rolesProven success managing complex, high-value customer relationshipsStrong executive presence and communication skillsAbility to operate both strategically and tacticallyPreferredExperience in semiconductor, advanced materials, or technical manufacturing environmentsBackground combining commercial and operational experienceExperience mentoring or leading account managersKey Success FactorsAbility to elevate the quality and consistency of customer engagementStrong ownership mindset with a drive to expand scope and impactBalance between deep account focus and broader organizational contributionHigh level of polish in communication and customer-facing outputsCareer Path & Growth OpportunityThis role is positioned as a key leadership pipeline role within Tosoh Quartz Inc., with potential progression into Vice President or broader executive leadership positions over time.Additional InformationRemote role with domestic travel requirementNo immediate relocation requiredScope expected to expand based on business needs and individual performance
