Yes Hours of Work 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM M-F Position Details Position Information Posting Number TSU203211 Official TSU Title Administrative Coordinator & Board Liaison (TSU Foundation) Grant Title N/A Job Description Summary / TWC Summary Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Administrative Coordinator & Board Liaison will perform an array of administrative support duties with a high degree of initiative, speed, and accuracy. The Administrative Coordinator & Board Liaison is primarily responsible for answering and routing phone calls, responding to routine inquiries/requests, data entry, ordering supplies, and supporting requisition requests. Additionally, the Administrative Coordinator & Board Liaison will manage all Board logistics, including those related to meetings, mailings, communications, event invitations, and updates. Essential Duties Summary Provides administrative support that includes, but is not limited to, answering and routing phone calls, responding to routine inquiries and requests, data entry, ordering supplies, handling department requisition requests, preparing reports, presentations, correspondence, and materials. Performs advanced administrative and/or project-oriented duties. Investigates, prioritizes, and determines best approach to manage projects with in specific time constraints. Assists in keeping projects on schedule and tracking important deadlines. Processes expense reports and prepare credit card reconciliations. Processes invoices for submission and approval. Maintain website and calendar for the Foundation. Makes travel arrangements and hotel accommodations, as required. Schedules meetings and manage all duties associated with meeting planning, as required. Liaise with other administrative offices to ensure effective coordination of activities. Manage student workers and graduate assistants, where applicable. Other duties as assigned in fulfillment of the organization’s mission. % FTE 1.0 Hiring Range $48,273.00 - $60,341.00 Education Bachelor’s degree. Required Licensing/Certification N/A Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of: General procedures for effective administrative support and board management practices. Centralized requisition processes for non-profit organizations. Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications. Skilled In: · Must be well-organized, flexible, detailed oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines. Exceptional customer service. Problem-solving and decision-making. Strong analytical and critical thinking. Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with peers, subordinates, other University departments, and the public. Both verbal and written communication. Ability to: · Successfully balance and manage competing priorities. Effectively and proactively solve problems. Effectively interact with all levels in the organization. Maintain a positive, proactive attitude. Meet deadlines of assigned deliverables. Work in a fast pace, evolving environment. Work Experience At least 5 years of progressive professional experience in an administrative support role. Working/Environmental Conditions Routine office environment. Sitting or standing in one location much of the time. Some stooping, lifting, and carrying light weight objects may be required. Use of video display terminal.
