SharePoint & Data Management Specialist
Position OverviewThe SharePoint & Data Management Specialist provides enterprise-level data and collaboration support to the U.S. Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Project Resident Office. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining structured data environments that enable efficient program execution, reporting, and decision-making.Operating within a complex shipbuilding and acquisition environment, the specialist manages large volumes of program data, documentation, and reporting requirements. The role ensures that data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with program needs by developing SharePoint solutions, automated workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools.This position directly supports program transparency, operational efficiency, and leadership decision-making by transforming raw data into actionable insights. The specialist collaborates with multiple stakeholders to support data calls, reporting requirements, and performance tracking, while maintaining data integrity and governance across systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain SharePoint sites, workflows, and document repositoriesManage data calls, reporting processes, and tracking systemsCreate dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or similar toolsEnsure document control, versioning, and records management complianceSupport program metrics, reporting, and data analysis activitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to improve data accessibility and usabilityRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Data Management, or related field4+ years of SharePoint or collaboration platform experienceExperience with data analysis and reporting toolsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteActive Secret clearance or ability to obtain onePreferred QualificationsPower BI or advanced analytics experienceExperience supporting Federal programsKnowledge of data governance practices
