This position prioritizes site specific building needs in conjunction with site management staff and serves as the lead contact person for vendors and program staff for building needs.Essential Job Duties:Develop daily work list identifying building needs in conjunction with site management staffCreates work orders and coordinates work with maintenance and environmental service staff within their assigned buildingEnsures maintenance, environmental service staff and vendors work orders are submitted and completed in a timely mannerCompletes maintenance needs/tasks in building including carpentry, plumbing, electrical and paint projects.Ensures their assigned building is in compliance with regulatory codes by completing monthly building and vehicle safety inspections.Completes large floor care projects, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.Maintains maintenance equipment within their building(s).Completes routine maintenance as neededCompletes room set ups and moves as needed.Completes lawn care and snow removal as needed.Skills:• Basic computer skills• Mechanical skills• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment• Knowledge and experience in maintenance trades, electric, plumbing, carpentry.• Knowledge of building environmental safety requirements.Competencies Template: AdministrativeEducation:Minimum Degree Required: High SchoolExperience:Minimum Experience Required: 6-9 years working in various tradesRequired License/Registration/ Certification: New York State Driver's LicenseTraining:New Hire OrientationPhysical Requirements:The overall nature of the position is sedentary requiring little physical effort with occasional light physical exertion required.
