Job Description Job Opportunity: Faculty Position in Gastroenterology and HepatologyOur organization is actively looking for a full-time faculty member to join the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division. Ideal candidates should hold an MD, DO, or an equivalent degree, have completed residency training in Internal Medicine, and have finished a fellowship in Gastroenterology. Candidates must also be board certified or eligible for certification in Gastroenterology and must be qualified to obtain a medical license in California.The Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division is currently expanding and is particularly interested in applicants who specialize in General Gastroenterology.We are proud to offer a well-established, ACGME-accredited fellowship program in Gastroenterology. Faculty responsibilities will include:Providing direct patient careTeaching and supervising residents and fellowsPerforming endoscopic proceduresParticipating in clinical researchFaculty appointments will be based on the qualifications and accomplishments of the selected candidate.Location and LifestyleThis position is based in Fresno, California, a city that offers a high quality of life at a relatively low cost.
