If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out.The OpportunityWe partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.Evaluate and select appropriate manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures.Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions and control plans.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, Quality, Production) to ensure successful product launches.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all manufacturing operations.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a discrete manufacturing setting.Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing processes and tooling.Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and their application to manufacturing operations.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, welding, and automation.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.Bonus QualificationsExperience with a specific CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex).Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Proficiency in a programming language for automation or data analysis (e.g., Python, R, C++).Job Titles That Should ApplyManufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Process Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Systems Engineer, Lean Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Manufacturing Excellence Engineer, Operations Engineer, Production Optimization EngineerWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
