Duties
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately
Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform conduit bending, wiring, and other electrical tasks
Support the installation of low voltage systems and ensure compliance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements
Follow strict electrical safety procedures and safety protocol adherence at all times during daily tasks
Conduct basic troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters to test electrical circuits and components
Help maintain detailed records of work performed and assist in site cleanup and organization
Experience
Prior experience or exposure to industrial or construction site electrical work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Familiarity with commercial electrical systems, conduit bending, wiring techniques, and blueprint reading is advantageous
Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters is beneficial
Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards and NEC guidelines is a plus
Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures rigorously on construction sites or similar environments
Strong interest in developing expertise in low voltage systems, electrical blueprint interpretation, and overall electrical work within a construction setting
