Senior Java Full Stack Developer with ReactJS Experience-6 Months Contract-Remote opportunity-Direct

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Full Stack Developer for an onshore contractor engagement, with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka or similar event-driven architecture, and React JS/UI development. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills and be capable of working collaboratively across teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of professional software development experience, including strong full-stack development experience. Strong hands-on proficiency in Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms. Strong experience with React JS and modern front-end development practices. Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and reusable component development. Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Understanding of microservices architecture and API-based integrations. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software engineering practices. Strong debugging, problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to independently drive technical implementation and collaborate with distributed business and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. Implement and manage event-driven systems using Kafka or equivalent technologies. Build responsive, reusable, and dynamic user interfaces using React JS, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. Integrate front-end applications with backend REST APIs and enterprise data services. Collaborate with IT teams to incorporate security best practices, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or JWT-based authorization. Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features. Analyze and optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability. Develop unit and integration tests and support CI/CD and automated deployment processes. Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, mentoring, and knowledge sharing. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and deliver solutions.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tooling. Experience developing applications in financial services, banking, risk, compliance, or another regulated environment. Agile/Scrum development experience.
