Job Overview Title: Speech Language Pathologist Location: Utica, NY Shift: 5 x 8 hour Days Duration: 13 week contract Travel pay: $3000 - $3100/wk Requirements: Completion of clinical fellowship year required NY license required AND CCC in SLP from ASHA BLS Certified 1 year of prior experience as a Speech Pathologist in acute care or inpatient setting is highly preferred. ACUTE CARE setting SLP will be expected to cover acute/rehab/OP as scheduled 75-mile radius rule - TRAVEL (WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate will apply for candidate residing less than 75 miles from the facility) 8-hour days Weekend rotation, as scheduled within 40 week hours Shift: 8:00-16:30 Duties Areas of care include inpatient hospital, acute rehab and outpatient clinic. Completion of clinical fellowship year required Swallowing bed evaluations, required and video fluoroscopy experience preferred, not required. Would need to be flexible to move with patient loads. Responsible for patient coverage within the Mohawk Valley Health System system. Areas of care include inpatient hospital, acute rehab and outpatient clinic. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including educators, physicians, and family members to coordinate care strategies. Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches to optimize outcomes.
