Our Florida Structures Inspection team partners with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and local agencies to ensure the safety and reliability of bridges and transportation structures across the state. As an Assistant Inspector, youll support FDOT-compliant inspections while building technical expertise in one of the most important public-safety disciplines. Key Responsibilities. Assist with FDOT-required inspections of bridges, culverts, overhead sign structures, high-mast lighting poles, retaining walls, and other transportation assets.
