Store Clerk

As our Store Clerk, you will handle all aspects of merchandise while working to ensure our guests and customers receive quality customer service.This position may require flexible scheduling availabilityRequirementsJob Requirements:Greet customers, answer the telephone courteously, and complete all sales transactionsEnsure merchandise inventory is kept neat, attractively displayed, and sufficiently stockedCommunicate inventory shortages to the Resort Manager and Store SupervisorOperate cash register, fuel console, lottery machine, money order machine, and telecom transactionsReceive payment from customers in cash, check, or credit card and accurately count and provide change when applicableReports cash shortages to the Resort Manager as neededAssist with merchandise orders, receive and verify vendor deliveries, and stock merchandise as requestedMaintain a good working relationship with vendorsPerform shift opening and closing duties as assigned by Store SupervisorGreet and registers overnight campers and provide passes to registered guestsClean and maintain both the inside and outside areas of the storeInspect store facilities and equipment to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and proper working orderReport all issues to Resort Manager and Store Supervisor when applicableBecome proficient in the Resort reservation system to assist with Guest service when neededJob Qualifications:Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsReadily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors.
