CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a .NET Software Developer to primarily support the US Army’s Range Managers Toolkit (RMTK) project, consisting of a suite of add-ins to be used within ESRI ArcGIS Pro. Additional tasks may include supporting low-level .NET web application development.
Tasks include:
Work item analysis – Developer will participate in analyzing work items and providing estimates of work to be done
Code development – Successful candidate will be tasked with both writing greenfield code and refactoring legacy code
Participate in peer code reviews – This person will help ensure code quality by being an active participant in reviewing pull requests across teams
Required Skills
U.S. citizen
Must be able to pass local background checks to attain a Common Access Card for system access
Solid understanding of objected-oriented programming
Comfortable with high school level geometry concepts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office products
Preferred Skills
Ability to interpret client requirements into specifications, models, code, and systems
Experience with Agile workflow processes
Required Experience
2+ years of experience writing Microsoft .NET code (preferably .NET 8 or higher)
1+ years of experience working remotely (primarily camera off)
Experience with Git version control
Experience with Azure DevOps, Gitlab or similar DevOps platform
Preferred Experience:
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Experience using ESRI ArcGIS Pro or similar GIS application
Experience writing .NET code for web applications
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or cumulative 3-4 years of equivalent work experience in a related position.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education with a major in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), math, science, engineering or similar
MCSD or similarly relevant programming certification
Security+ certification
MOS Certification for MS Office Products
