Role: IT Senior Business AnalystLocation: US, preferably close to PhiladelphiaDesired qualifications: IT or Logistics related degree Experience:5/6 years in an IT Business Analyst role within a logistics / supply chain organizationDemonstrable analytical skillsSignificant knowledge and understanding of the logistics / supply chain industry and associated IT systems (such as WMS, TMS, OMS, etc). WMS : Blue Younder Discrete.Knowledge and experience in implementing automation for sites and customers.Capability to undertake the IT Project Manager role for small projectsCapability to take the lead BA role on large size projects, often with high-profile international Blue chip clientsComfortable in operating in a wide range of business sectors such as Healthcare, Automotives, Technology, E-Commerce, Retail, Food, etc.Knowledge of SQL, diagramming tools, and testing softwareRole DetailReporting into the Delivery leads, and the IT Project Manager for allocated projectsWorking within the structure of the Project Management methodology (CPM), undertaking a set of key tasks as listed below:Take a lead role in workshops, working with internal and external key stakeholders to identify and document requirements to define the agreed scope of the project, subject to the sign-off of all partiesTo act as consultant, co-ordinator and liaison between the various parties in the development / configuration build stage of the solution, working to ensure fitness for purposePrepare test plans and conduct Systems Integration Testing (SIT), as required, to professional quality standards, ensuring that the end-to-end data exchanges between organisations and systems works as it should, and that the systems are correctly configured to meet the documented requirementsSupport the user community in undertaking User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Support the preparation of the solution for live operationPerform implementation and post implementation support tasks, both on and off site, as required by the project.Projects are generally centered around Client warehouses located throughout North America.
