With over 300 employees globally, we’re a young company with some established brands and serious investment behind us.We pride ourselves on being experts at creating highly engaging football content for some of the biggest brands in football to help them create authentic connections with fans.About the RoleThis is a 2 month Fixed Term Contract.The Commercial arm of Footballco is looking for a self-starting, well organised and confident Account Manager who is passionate about football and has great knowledge of the game.Reporting into one of our Account Directors and working as part of a dedicated team you will be a key part of managing one of our global clients; ensuring campaign plans are activated, reported on and optimised; and be at the forefront of new initiatives across our owned platforms. You’ll also be responsible for assisting the wider team on other campaigns during the World Cup.As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for having a deep understanding of our client’s business and challenges and have the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, relationships and stakeholders at the same time. Although situated in the client Activation team, you’ll be working with multiple strands of the business globally from Sales & strategy to Production & Creative.This is the perfect role for a driven and enthusiastic Senior Account Executive to take the next step in their career. If you’ve spent a number of years working within an agency, rights holder or brand, delivering digitally and socially led football content marketing campaigns targeting sports fans; and if you truly understand the sports media landscape and the power of social media to engage with fans – then we want to hear from you!What You'll be doing:Campaign activation & delivery – own the activation and optimisation of campaigns and ensure they over deliver against predefined KPIs within the allocated budget. Ensuring that the campaigns run smoothly and there is clear communication both internally and externallyCampaign Management - Strong emphasis on structuring, categorising, and maintaining content to ensure clarity, consistency, and ease of access across all platformsStakeholder management - develop a detailed understanding of all stakeholders, your clients ecosystem and build relationshipsTeam management – work closely with the Account Director, content lead & Lead producer to ensure the delivery of key campaignsCampaign reporting – keep across all campaigns and make sure timely and accurate reports are delivered to all key stakeholders – highlighting key learnings and insights that will ensure we are constantly evolving and progressing our approachWhat You Have:Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to juggle and prioritise multiple clients and tasksExperience working in an account handling role within an agency, right holder or brand environment preferably in sportExtensive knowledge of sports media, digital marketing and the social media spaceExperience of working with brands, leagues or broadcasters on social media platformsDelivering client presentationsManaging budgets and invoicingStrong attention to detailExcellent people management and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levelsAbility to work across multiple teamsA high degree of self-motivationA committed, positive and proactive approachStrong commercial awarenessFootballco is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
