We operate with a test-and-learn mindset and a strong emphasis on data, performance, and continuous optimization.PlayStar is seeking a Director of Acquisition to own and operate key customer acquisition channels, with a primary focus on affiliates, ASO/SEO, and cross-functional growth initiatives. This role will work closely with marketing leadership and external agency partners to execute against a well-defined paid media strategy, while rebuilding and scaling high-impact owned and partner-driven acquisition channels.The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator with deep experience in affiliate marketing and a strong understanding of how acquisition connects to product, CRM, and commercial performance (CPA to LTV ratio and efficient payback).Key ResponsibilitiesAffiliate & Partner Channel Ownership (Primary Focus)Own PlayStar's affiliate program end-to-end, including partner management, commercial negotiations, and performance optimizationIdentify and onboard new affiliate partners, networks, and strategic distribution opportunitiesMonitor traffic quality, ensure compliance, and optimize toward CPA, LTV, and payback targetsOrganic & Owned Acquisition ChannelsOwn ASO and SEO strategy and execution, working with internal and external resources as neededIdentify and prioritize high-impact opportunities to drive incremental organic growthOptimize conversion funnels from organic traffic sourcesPaid Media Oversight (Agency Collaboration)Act as the internal day-to-day counterpart to paid media agency partnersEnsure agency execution aligns with company priorities, budgets, and performance targetsProvide inputs on offers, landing pages, and campaign strategy based on channel learningsMonitor performance and hold agency accountable to agreed KPIsCross-Functional ExecutionPartner with Product/Ops to align acquisition with proposition, promotions, and merchandisingWork closely with CRM to ensure strong early-life conversion and retention of acquired usersCollaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics (CPA, LTV, payback)Coordinate with Compliance/Legal to ensure all acquisition activity meets regulatory standardsPerformance Management & OptimizationTrack and report on acquisition performance across all channelsIdentify opportunities to improve conversion rates across the funnel (landing page → registration → deposit)Use data to continuously refine channel mix and partner prioritizationMaintain clear documentation of channel performance, learnings, and historical contextQualifications5–8+ years of experience in acquisition, performance marketing, or growth rolesStrong hands-on experience managing affiliate programs (iGaming experience strongly preferred)Working knowledge of paid media channels and how to manage agency partners effectivelyExperience with ASO and/or SEO, or demonstrated ability to manage these channelsStrong cross-functional operator, comfortable working across product, CRM, and financeAnalytical mindset with experience managing to CPA, LTV, and payback targetsAbility to operate autonomously while aligning with senior leadership
