Senior Product Analyst - Personal Lines

Acuity is seeking a Senior Product Analyst - Personal Lines to own Acuity’s portfolio through monitoring and elevating current products and positioning, while fostering alignment with customer/market expectations and company objectives. The Product Analyst will research and develop new or enhanced product offerings to optimize profitable growth potential while organizing and analyzing industry, product, and company information to create actionable insights and recommendations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Champion the implementation of new and existing products/features. Collaborate with regional market directors, product leads, and cross-functional teams in the design, delivery, and positioning of new or enhanced products, aligned with Acuity’s vision. Create formal product proposals consisting of product features, suggested coverage wording, coverage comparisons, rating variable analysis, and rating logic modifications to support specific customer, business segment, regional, and product objectives. Communicate proposals with executive stakeholders and business leaders, fostering alignment, setting direction, and establishing priorities. Partner with subject matter experts across the organization to research business ideas, market opportunities, or trends that lead to new and enhanced product ideas. Assist in the analysis of the financial impact of new product ideas. Monitor and evaluate product performance based on key business metrics and customer feedback to maintain product relevance, improvements, and identify enhancement opportunities. Deliver solutions to improve the customer experience and optimize product performance, ensuring Acuity’s product portfolio remains best-in-class and aligns to customer/marketplace expectations. Assess the impact of changes from industry advisory organizations, evaluate their impact on Acuity, and facilitate conversations with stakeholders on potential adoption. Conduct competitor and niche market research, with analysis of companion internal data, to identify and create actionable recommendations that drive growth or profitability. Communicate results and recommendations with stakeholders and business leaders to assist and influence strategic direction that supports growth, diversification, and profitability. Champion customer industry segments. Monitor industry trends and Acuity results and manage the performance of these segments in close partnership with Market Strategy and line functions. Communicate results with stakeholders and make recommendations for new products and value-added services as applicable. Support the annual rate change process with marketplace insights and competitor actions to enhance understanding of market-positioning and decision-making. Work closely with Customer and Communication areas to execute strategy, design promotional material, and effectively frame communication to internal and external audiences. Partner in the development of training and communication materials and provide training as necessary on product changes/enhancements for Underwriting, Distribution, and agency personnel. Build strong relationships across the organization to understand the nuances of geographic markets, product lines, and competitive landscape, to develop creative solutions. Proactively monitor insurance industry and macroeconomic trends to support Acuity’s dynamic and ongoing strategies. Actively pursue continued professional development, including, but not limited to, strengthening coverage language aptitude, enriching industry knowledge, broadening understand of Acuity’s underwriting practices, and deepening research and analytical capabilities. Highly regular and predictable attendance. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or extensive applicable experience. EXPERIENCE: Several years experience as a Product Analyst, or related work. Additionally, demonstrates extensive knowledge of Acuity’s product offerings along with experience in fostering alignment with customer/market expectations and company objectives. Possesses a solid understanding of the team’s role in the company’s operational and strategic plans. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 annually.
