Pediatric Physical TherapistReports to: Clinic DirectorHealthcare setting: ClinicMedical specialties: PediatricsWork Location: On-sitePosition Summary:We are seeking Pediatric Physical Therapists who are committed to promoting motor development, mobility, and overall physical function while creating a welcoming environment that supports every child and family.RequirementsLicensed Physical TherapistBachelor level degree or aboveLicensed in the state of MissouriCriminal Background CheckMust be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certificationPreferred 1-2 years of experience working with the pediatric populationValid Driver’s License & Evidence of InsurabilityCollaborative team memberEnthusiastic and ethicalEnjoy working with childrenProfessional and works with integrityAbility to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on your feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 25 lbs on occasionResponsibilitiesConduct physical therapy evaluations of clients referred to physical therapyConduct re-evaluations of patients on a regular basis, as recommendedConduct 1:1 sessions according to individual needsParticipate in staff meetings and conferences indicated to review progressProvide assistance to staff regarding concerns pertaining to physical therapy and assist staff in maintaining open communication with parents concerning physical therapy problemsConduct in-service training for staff, parents and others as necessary and requestedSupervise PTAs and maintain documentation as outlinedPerform duties at multiple locations, as neededOperate all therapy equipment according to manufacturers and clinic guidelinesPrepare reports of evaluation and reevaluationsPrepare other reports relative to physical therapyMaintain accurate records of services provided for statistical and billing purposesMaintain current daily notesAssist with program developmentPlan and conduct special education programs related to physical therapy for staff and the community upon requestAttend meetings and training as requestedAdhere to policies and procedures of Children With OpportunityAssist in providing a safe environment for all patients and staffAssist with problem solving to improve efficiency within the clinicPortray a positive attitude and maintain a customer and coworker satisfaction level that limits adverse situations or complaintsPromote clinic philosophies, generating team spirit and creating and maintaining an environment that fosters staff satisfaction, maximizes productivity and profitabilityJob Type: Full-time, Part-timeFull-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $83,500.00 per yearAvailability: Potential to float and support other locations as neededBenefitsProfessional DevelopmentMedical, dental, and vision benefitsRetirement PlanPaid Time Off8 Paid HolidaysFlexible ScheduleCollaborative work environmentNOTE: The preceding statements describe the nature and level of assignments normally given job incumbents.
