Software Systems Engineer

We're working with a leading technology integrator providing full life cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets, supporting vital U.S. federal government initiatives.The Role Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and sustain software systems for advanced space vehicle programs. Translate stakeholder, mission, and system requirements into software and interface requirements. Develop and maintain software architecture products, interface control documents (ICDs), and system engineering artifacts. Collaborate with flight software, ground software, cybersecurity, and hardware engineering teams for end-to-end system integration. Participate in system design reviews, software technical reviews, and program milestone events. Support mission operations, anomaly investigations, software upgrades, and post-launch sustainment activities.What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical discipline. 9+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or software integration. Experience with the systems engineering lifecycle (requirements, design, integration, test, verification, validation). Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, DevSecOps, waterfall). Experience supporting complex integrated systems in aerospace, defense, intelligence, or space environments.
