Golf Course Maintenance (Grounds Crew)

Job Summary:We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Golf Course Maintenance Grounds Crew. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining the golf course's landscape, ensuring a pristine playing environment for our guests. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work.Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging of grass areas- Assist in the maintenance of golf course greens, tees, and fairways- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools- Monitor and manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of the course- Assist in the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as needed- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of course presentation- Participate in seasonal projects such as aeration, overseeding, and landscaping improvements- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environmentRequirementsSkills and Qualifications:- Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required- Ability to operate lawn care equipment and machinery safely and effectively- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects- Strong teamwork and communication skills- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as neededQualifications:Valid Driver's License.18 years of age and over preferred.Ability to lift 50lbs.Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions including inclement conditions when necessary (afternoons preferred)Ability to work weekends and holidays
