Federal Work Study: Student Worker, Computer Programming and Database Management Program SupportOverview:Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is seeking a Federal Work Study Student for the position of Student Worker for the EIT Department at the Main Campus in Cincinnati , OH. This position consists of working with the Co-op Coordinator of the Business Programming and System Analysis, Computer Programming and Database Management, and Software Engineering Technologies on day-to-day activities related to the support of these programs. Duties will include communications with students on Coordinator’s behalf, administrative support of current online classes, development and support of technical organizations related to the programs for all students, and miscellaneous administrative duties as defined by the Chair and Co-op CoordinatorEssential Duties:Assist co-op coordinator with grading and classroom preparation.Communicate with students and program instructors on the co-op coordinator’s behalf.Provide technical support with computer programming assignments.Minimum Qualifications:Must have completed a FAFSA for the current school year.Must meet and continue to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.Must be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen.Must demonstrate financial needDesired Competencies:Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills required.Knowledge of computer programming languagesHourly Pay - $14.00 per hourStatus: Position is part-time working no more than 20 hours per week.Contract: N/AEqual Opportunity Employer- Committed to Creating a Diverse and Inclusive Work EnvironmentCincinnati State Technical and Community College, as well as its individual academic divisions, is committed to a policy of equal opportunity in all its activities and programs, including employment and promotion.
