Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced, driven director of Sales to lead revenue growth for two hotel properties, responsible for producing an annual sales target. This role oversees all corporate, group, government, and extended‐stay sales efforts, builds strong market relationships, and ensures both hotels capture their fair share of demand. The ideal candidate is a proactive hunter with a proven track record of closing business, managing key accounts, and developing strategic sales plans that drive occupancy, ADR, and long‐term account retention.Responsibilities~Lead all sales efforts for two hotels, with an annual production targetDevelop and execute strategic sales plans for corporate, group, government, and extended‐stay segmentsConduct regular outside sales calls, site tours, presentations, and networking to generate new businessMaintain and grow key accounts through consistent outreach, relationship management, and retention strategiesBuild strong partnerships with local businesses, travel managers, and community organizationsAnalyze market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to adjust sales strategiesCollaborate with revenue management on pricing, forecasting, and rate negotiationsPrepare weekly sales reports, production updates, and action plans for leadershipRepresent both hotels at trade shows, chamber events, and industry functionsEnsure seamless communication with operations teams for group arrivals and corporate bookingsQualifications~3-5 years of hotel sales experience; multi‐property experience preferredProven ability to generate substantial annual salesStrong negotiation, communication, and relationship‐building skillsKnowledge of local corporate and group marketsProficiency with hotel CRM/PMS systems; valid driver's license#VensureEmployerSolutionsWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
