All while working in an environment that emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and professionalism.We are currently seeking a DOT Coordinator for our Bossier City, LA location to support East TX and Louisana.PURPOSE: Handles all matters pertaining to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:Ensure all drivers turn in accurate daily logEnter data into the log checking software and verifying accurate mileage and fuel reportingMaintain all driver files; ensure compliance with FMCSR requirementsNotify employee and District Manager when driver's qualification expiration is approaching (within 5 days of expiration)Ensure all documents required by DOT are complete and accurateForward in timely manner all required documents to the appropriate officesEnsure all drivers are properly qualified before drivingEnsure all background investigations are completed within the 30 day requirementInterface with HR regarding any new hire documentation requiredHandle registration, titling and licensing of KLX vehiclesResponsible for EMKAY, fuel and maintenanceMaintain complete asset list for KLXMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School Diploma/EquivalentWork Experience:* A minimum of two years DOT experience preferredRelated Experience:Able to professionally communicate verbally and in writing to internal personnel and external customers/vendorsAble to analyze and troubleshoot problemsBasic computer skills and proficient in Access, Word and ExcelPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor's DegreeDegree Field (s): •Health, Safety, and Environment or related disciplineWork Experience:* A minimum of two years DOT experience preferredRelated Experience:Able to professionally communicate verbally and in writing to internal personnel and external customers/vendorsAble to analyze and troubleshoot problemsBasic computer skills and proficient in Access, Word and ExcelPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Precise hand/eye coordination: ConstantlyBasic keyboarding or other repetitive motions: ConstantlyOperation of heavy equipment or operation of vehicles: OccasionallyLifting/pushing objects weighing over: > 20 lbs: OccasionallyClimbing and working in awkward and cramped positions: SeldomnlyEOE/Minorities/Females/Veterans/Disabled.
