Power Platform Developer/Data Visualization Developer (Vantage)

All hired employees are expected to have experience with Microsoft Copilot and / or an approved equivalent AI solution.DescriptionData Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Power Platform Developer specializing in Power BI and data visualizations in our Enterprise Services Group Business Unit. This position requires a DOD Secret Clearance. The right candidate will serve as a Power Platform/Power BI Developer to a dedicated customer organization.This role provides Power Platform Developer and Power BI/data visualization support to a dynamic organization supporting the Army. The government customer team works in partnership with the DSA team and subcontractors to provide a cohesive support model to a varied customer base. There is potential for professional development and career growth for motivated candidates.The DSA Power Platform developer will develop low code no code solutions using Power Platform tools within the Army 365 tenant.Required QualificationsActive DoD Secret Security ClearanceHighly proficient in Power Platform solution development (1-5 years of experience in PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI with intermediate DAX knowledge ideal)Advanced SharePoint Online (SPO) experience and understanding of its role in the Microsoft Office 365 (experience in the Army 365 tenant ideal) ecosystemHighly proficient in developing and managing Power BI solutionsHighly proficient in developing and delivering data solutionsProven proficiency in data visualization designSolid understanding of data model developmentExperience taking part in and leading user acceptance testing (UAT) activitiesSolid understanding of requirements gathering processProficient in documenting technical solutions developed and creating associated reference materialsCustomer engagement experience with the ability to develop relationships and understand needsFoundational knowledge in Power Pages, Dataverse, and Premium CapacitiesUnderstanding of UX/UI principlesExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to complete tasks with little to no supervisionCOMPTIA Security + certification (Certification preferred upon hire but must be acquired within 90 days for otherwise well qualified candidate)Computing Environment (CE) relative to the position (EX: Microsoft Power Platform 200, 300, 400, 600 or position specific certifications can be considered) - Certification preferred upon hire but can be acquired within 90 days for otherwise well qualified candidateExperience using Vantage Analytics, Vantage Insights, or similar enterprise data visualization and reporting platformsExperience integrating Vantage data sources with Power BI dashboards and reporting solutionsDesired QualificationsExperience working on an Agile Scrum teamWorking knowledge of Power Platform environments and pipelinesProficient with Model-Driven app development and DataverseUnderstanding of Power BI Premium WorkspacesExperience developing and delivering user training and reference materials#DSA209Many of DSA's positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
