Flux Core Welder We are seeking a skilled Flux Core Welder who is flexible to work across all shifts. You will initially undergo training on the first shift before transitioning to either the second or third shift.Pay: $30-$36 per hour (must have prior welding experience)ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret shop blueprints and diagrams.Pass a 2G and 3G FCAW weld test.Perform layout, positioning, alignment, fitting, clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, grinding, or bolting component parts to obtain required preparation, configuration, and position for welding.Weld in vertical and horizontal positions.Handle materials using hands, overhead cranes, forklifts, or other handling equipment.Operate various types of automatic, semi-automatic, or manual welding equipment using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and submerged arc welding.Essential SkillsProficiency in reading and interpreting shop blueprints.Ability to pass 2G and 3G FCAW weld tests.Experience in welding in vertical and horizontal positions.At least 2-4 years of relevant welding experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to lift 50 lbs.Capability to bend, kneel, crawl, push, pull, reach, climb, and carry various materials and equipment.Why Work Here?This position offers a union environment with a high starting pay rate. Enjoy every other weekend overtime opportunities, with 1.5x pay on Saturdays and double time on Sundays.Work EnvironmentTraining will be conducted from 7:00am to 3:30pm on the first shift. Following training, employees must be open to working the second shift (3:00pm-11:30pm) or third shift (11:00pm-7:30am) based on seniority and operational needs. This is a union environment with a standard 40-hour work week, and some overtime may be available but is not guaranteed. The work environment includes handling various materials and utilizing different types of welding equipment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Duquesne, Pennsylvania.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $63003.00 - $70000.00/yr. This is a Union environment that offers a high starting pay rate, and Four different health plans through Highmark.
