Java With Azure Experience

ResponsibilitiesDevelop fully functional and high-quality Java – Microservices applications by clean and efficient coding. Support the developed applications throughout their entire lifecycle of concept, design, test, release, and support. Engage with users to better understand customer needs and opportunities for improvements. Provide technical and work guidance to a team of SDE’s, Consultants and/or offshore resources. Manage user expectations and requirements scope. Participates in fit/gap analysis of functional requirements. Work closely with project managers, architects, developers, testing team, business users/Client and applicable outside entities (vendors and others). Lead and mentor junior team members. Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field. 10+ years’ experience in Software Development with strong hands-on experience in performing the following: Build enterprise scale distributed applications with extensive SDLC knowledge and Agile methodologies Design and create Java applications using a variety of modern programming languages and open-source technologies Experience with working on Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps Excellent verbal and written communication skills with focused attention to details. Experience with deployment including knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, and related concepts Experience working in a team oriented, Agile software engineering environment Ability to work with both technical and functional resources Well organized and able to work independently Affinity for learning new programming languages, tools, and applications
