A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time, ON-SITE, Sonographer, in Morristown, NJ! Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Sonographer to join a premier cardiac center in Morristown, NJ. This role is responsible for performing high-quality echocardiographic studies while ensuring patient comfort and delivering exceptional care. Sonographer Compensation The pay for this position is $50/hr Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment Sonographer Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Schedule: Sunday – Any 8-hour shift (flexible) Monday – 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Tuesday – 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Thursday – 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Friday – 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Sonographer Responsibilities · Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring comfort and clear communication of the process · Perform echocardiography studies in accordance with ASE & IAC guidelines · Monitor patients throughout procedures and address any concerns or complications · Set up and operate imaging equipment efficiently · Review prior imaging, reports, and patient charts for accuracy and continuity of care · Ensure completeness and quality of imaging studies; notify physicians of results · Maintain accurate logs and documentation of exams performed · Manage inventory and order necessary supplies · Perform additional duties as assigned Sonographer Requirements Extensive experience performing adult echocardiography in an inpatient setting Minimum 200 documented inpatient echo cases (required) Strong proficiency in valvular assessment, spectral Doppler, and Pedoff techniques Experience with contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies Ability to work independently and respond quickly to critical findings MUST be experienced with TAVR and MitraClip procedures and have worked in a facility performing these Preferred Skills & Experience TEE and Stress Echo experience Familiarity with 3D echocardiography imaging Experience with advanced cardiac procedures (TAVR, Mitral Clip, HCM, VAD, closure devices) Knowledge of ICAEL-accredited lab standards Experience with Philips iE33 and Epiq systems Familiarity with Epic EMR system Education Required: High School Diploma or GED Preferred: Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology Program Certifications & Licensure Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS or CCI) BLS Certification (AHA required) Documentation of at least 200 inpatient echocardiography cases If you think this Sonographer position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me—feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
