Tech Lead Clojure Developer

Job Title: Tech Lead Clojure Developer Location: Chicago or Remote but need to work US Central time zone. Role Overview We are seeking a Tech Lead - Clojure Developer to join our LendTech team supporting Guaranteed Rate. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in Clojure development . This role requires strong technical leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Lead development efforts using Clojure and ClojureScript Work independently on assigned tasks and ensure timely delivery Collaborate closely with stakeholders, leadership, and team members Communicate project status, risks, and task progress to leadership and clients regularly Identify technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation Mandatory Skills: Clojure Development (3-5 years minimum) Strong Full Stack Development experience Excellent communication skills Ability to learn new technologies quickly Proven understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Desirable Skills: ClojureScript Experience in Microsoft .NET Core & Full Stack Development is a plus Evaluation Criteria (Key Skills): Clojure / ClojureScript expertise Full Stack Development capabilities Communication and stakeholder management skills
