Cost Accountant

Cost Accountant Job Title: Cost Accountant Salary: $60K - $90K (DOE) Requirements: B.A. in Accounting, Business, or related field / 2+ years of accounting, cost accounting, or related experience Responsibilities: Maintain and analyze costing data to support business operations Assist with inventory accounting and valuation activities Monitor and analyze variances, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare and distribute financial and operational reports Research discrepancies and perform root cause analysis Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and maintain accurate financial data Assist with inventory reviews, cycle counts, and related reporting Support budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field 2+ years of accounting, cost accounting, or related experience Knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting Experience working with inventory, costing, or manufacturing-related accounting activities is preferred Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and collaboration skills Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(K) Paid Time Off Paid Holidays For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
