Competitive weekly pay $1,940–$2,040 for a 16-week assignment.Job Details — Travel Nursing JobWeekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 – $2,040 Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Columbus healthcare & Ohio travel nursing jobs) Setting: Medical Oncology PCU (18 East & West) Contract Duration: 16 weeks (Start: 6/15/2026 – End: 10/5/2026) Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30) Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse Orientation: 72 hours (Week 1: Mon–Fri dayshift; Week 2: 36 hours on-unit with preceptor) Scheduling: Self-schedule requests accommodated — flexible scheduling for travel nursesPCU RN Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum 1 year of current PCU or progressive/acute care experience within the last 3 years Valid RN license: compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting experience required 2 professional references (minimum 1 from manager/director or formal leadership) Required to float to units of equal or lower acuity Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required Previous travel nursing experience preferred; oncology experience preferred but not requiredPCU Registered Nurse ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-acuity clinical care to medical oncology and PCU patients, supporting improved patient outcomes Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases (ABGs); manage telemetry and cardiac drips Administer blood products and IV therapies; chemotherapy administration preferred Manage central lines, PICC lines, peripheral IVs, and surgical drains; perform dressing changes and line care Provide feeding tube care, tracheostomy management, wound care and wound vac management Utilize rapid response teams and adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols Operate specialized equipment: GE telemetry monitors, bladder scanner, Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Stryker beds, continuous bladder irrigation Float to other PCU or Med-Surg Oncology units as needed and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, RT, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services)Experience Columbus, a vibrant city known for its thriving arts scene, diverse culinary offerings, and welcoming neighborhoods.
