Electrical Assembler I

We strive to recruit the best talent in the industry and give employees opportunities for continuing education and training to help them advance in their careers.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform basic electrical wiring assemblies including electrical componentsPerform simple fitting and/or mechanical type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipmentPerform basic inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standardsIdentify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnelKeep accurate production records/logs etc.Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teamsProtect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededMinimum QualificationsNo minimum education requiredNo prior experience requiredBasic understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitudeBasic understanding of electrical concepts/electrical aptitudeAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 poundsAbility to stand, walk, and sit upAbility to use hand to finger, handle, and feelAbility to climb and balanceAbility to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawlAbility to reach with hands and armsAbility to see, talk, and hearPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in a manufacturing environmentThe pay range for this position is $17.93 - $25.76/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
