Senior Project Manager manages the overall project direction, completion, and financial outcome for assigned projects.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for directing and mentoring on-site staff and off-site activities.
The Senior Project Manager works with minimal Area Manager oversight and is tasked to run projects independently or with the assistance of support staff under their direction.
The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, knowledge of contracts, organizational and time management skills, as well as strong communication and client service skills.
Capable of independently running construction projects with contract values up to $80M.

Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products;
Thorough understanding of Lump Sum, and unit price contracts;

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent education and experience required.
Minimum of 8 years’ Heavy Civil construction industry experience, with experience constructing structures, underground facilities, and other heavy civil-related work items.
Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, accounting, etc., plus an in-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units required. Thorough knowledge of Federal/State/Local Agency plans and specifications is required. Knowledge of SWPPP practices and regulations if required.
A thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities is vital.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines.
LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS
Certification as a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) is highly desirable

Pay: $124,903.00 - $165,327.00 per year
