These areas include Safety and Reactor Systems Engineering, Control and Information Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Advanced Operations and Controls Engineering, and Global I&C Production.These areas include Systems Engineering, Hardware Design, and Software Design (Controls, Display, and Object-Oriented). Additionally, you will work in Verification & Validation and Testing (Environmental, Functional, Integration), and Simulator Development and Testing.The intent of the Career Catalyst Program is to support our growing business, develop leadership, display aspects of being a corporate steward and identify future career interests.You will report to the I&C Manager and work a hybrid schedule in Cranberry, PAKey Responsibilities:Deliver value across multiple departments and global locations. This involves planning, communication, and teamwork. Through this process, you will gain hands-on experience and develop an understanding of different departments.Identify areas of improvement and use data analysis skills to propose solutions to enhance the efficiency of each rotational department.Develop a foundation of leadershipHelp develop a system design for I&C systems based on functional requirements, design requirements and regulatory requirements. Help engineer review of system documentation.Support design engineers to develop the hardware and software design of the I&C system. Develop design documents, which may include functional logic diagrams, system design documents, and calculation notes.Support customer offer development for I&C system projects.Qualifications:Completion of bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering degreeFlexibility to relocate based on the job rotations within the Greater Pittsburgh area (e.g. Cranberry, New Stanton, Warrendale, Etna)Demonstrated leadership with examplesAbove average academic achievement1+ years of experience with or knowledge of Labview, C++, Java, Python, object-oriented design, basic TCP/IP networking knowledge, virtualization, embedded softwareExperience with or knowledge of Printed Circuit Boards, Analog/Digital Circuit Design, FPGA, CPLDsWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
